Season 5, Episode 14

January 18th 2025

This was an episode I had been working on for a long time, and I was very glad to finally get it out.

Looking back at Jurassic Park and Jurassic World as a complete franchise is a bizarre experience, as it feels clear that it originally wasnt intended that way, as even author Michael Crichton seemed to have considered the story over after his sequel novel The Lost World, yet the franchise became one of the first prominent examples of corporate encouraged saturation, as Universal just seemed determined to just not let this die, spending years trying to make Jurassic Park III, and then planning the Jurassic World trilogy after years of development hell on a potential fourth film, and now the series has become this multimedia beast with spin-off animations in Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory, as well as further sequels, all of which I will likely be covering in the future as well, as well as revisiting the original novels.
