Join your host Garhdo as they continue their rewatch and review of the entire modern Doctor Who series by taking a look at the stories of the Eleventh Doctor as played by Matt Smith. As Steven Moffat took over as showrunner to bring in a new Doctor and new companions the series went through several reinventions as it drew closer to the 50th Anniversary, adding a new and unexpected piece of mythos to the Doctor. Garhdo will give their thoughts on this entire run of episodes, including the Day of the Doctor special, as they continue their journeys through time and space.

I continued my Doctor Who retrospective here by talking about perhaps my favourite era of modern Doctor Who, and possibly the era that helped to catapult it to worldwide success. I decided to split the Steven Moffat era, due to its size, to look at the Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors separately, which is helped by the divide between them, of both character arcs and companions. This also meant I got to conclude this episode with looking back at the 50th anniversary special, perhaps one of the best moments of the modern era.
