Season 3, Episode 04

February 28th 2022

This remains to date one of the most fun experiences I have had making this podcast and one of the episodes I am the proudest of. I looked at this classic science fiction novel for the first time, and explored some of the various ways it has been adapted over the years, including the infamous radio broadcast by Orson Welles and Jeff Wayne’s incredible musical show.

I was also unaware while recording, but later learned that it was the 125th anniversary of War of the Worlds, and so that was a great milestone to honour. Must have been fate that I chose to do it when I did.
