Season 1, Episode 01

Published April 1st 2021

I’d thought of doing a podcast or video series for a while, as I like thinking and talking about things that interest me and finding a community to share them with, and I also wanted an excuse to work through my backlog. And so I recorded my unscripted thoughts on something that had been on my mind for a while, and published this episode during the third Covid lockdown in 2021.

It’s easily my roughest episode, and all future ones became a lot more structured, even though I did try to maintain this same loose conversational style for a long time before I started a much more scripted approach. However, even though it’s rough I do still think I make some good points in this episode, even if I maybe continue for a while to talk about more examples after I think I’ve made my major point, but I still think it’s worth listening to and discussing.
